A Weekend Celebration of Colour and Connection
Château de Bagnols was more than just a venue for Rebecca and Piers — it was a return to a place they had fallen in love with years earlier. Its medieval courtyards, stone archways, and lavender gardens offered a natural stage for their summer celebration. Under the guidance of Bulles & Compagnie, one of the Rhône’s trusted wedding planners, the couple brought their vision of rustic romance to life. Guests were greeted with lavender confetti after an open-air ceremony set to live piano music, followed by champagne and canapés in the gardens. Dinner was served in the grand Salles des Gardes, where laughter filled the candlelit room and traditional speeches set the tone for a lively night ahead. The atmosphere was joyous, personal, and distinctly French the kind of evening that lingers long after the last toast.
Lavender, Light, and a Party to Remember
Rebecca’s couture gown by Inbal Dror, paired with Jimmy Choo heels and lavender accents, set a refined yet relaxed tone for the day. Her bridesmaids wore soft lavender dresses by The Dessy Group, each crowned with fresh flowers to match the garden aesthetic. The floral design by Antoinette of Fleurs de Fée filled every corner with fragrance and texture from the arch and tablescapes to rustic wooden way-finders. The celebration moved easily from dinner to dancing, with live music by The 101s and a DJ that kept the energy high into the early hours. The following morning, guests gathered once more beneath the lime trees for a Provençal brunch beside the château’s Roman pool. Captured by M and J Photography, among the admired wedding photographers in the South of France, the weekend radiated warmth, elegance, and the pure joy of a summer wedding in the French countryside.
